Kidnappers Freed Us First: Teacher Reveals Dramatic Twist in Oyo Abduction Saga, Contradicting Presidency’s “Rescue” Claim In a startling revelation that challenges the official narrative, one of the teachers held captive for 56 days by kidnappers in Oyo State has claimed that he and fellow hostages were released by their abductors *before* security operatives arrived to escort them to safety. Zacchaeus Olatunde, a teacher among the victims abducted from schools in Oriire Local Government Area, made the disclosure during a telephone interview with Nigeria Info FM on Friday. According to Olatunde, the captives — who were kept permanently blindfolded and had no idea of their location — were informed of their freedom by the kidnappers’ commander before any government intervention. “Until the last day when their commander came and was smiling and laughing and said we should thank God that we had been freed. The next thing they said was that we should open our eyes,” he recounted. The ...

LEGO UNVEILS LARGEST SET EVER WITH 12,060-PIECE SAGRADA FAMILIA MODEL INSPIRED BY BARCELONA LANDMARK. (PHOTO).

LEGO unveils largest set ever with 12,060-piece Sagrada Familia model inspired by Barcelona landmark

LEGO has unveiled its largest set in company history, a 12,060-piece replica of the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona.

The LEGO Architecture set is available for pre-order now ahead of its Nov. 1 release and carries a price tag of $799.99. The release coincides with commemorations marking 100 years since the death of architect Antoni Gaudí, who designed the landmark basilica. Construction of the real Sagrada Familia began in 1882 and continued long after Gaudí died in 1926. Earlier this year, the basilica reached structural completion with the finishing of the Tower of Jesus Christ, making it the tallest church in the world at 172.5 meters.

With 12,060 pieces, the model officially becomes the largest LEGO set ever produced, surpassing the previous record held by the LEGO Art World Map at 11,695 pieces. Other major sets include the Eiffel Tower at 10,001 pieces, the Titanic at 9,090 pieces, and the Colosseum at 9,036 pieces.

The finished model stands about 2 feet tall and more than 18 inches wide and 15 inches deep. It features a stained-glass effect designed to replicate the way light moves through the real basilica, along with detailed recreations of its 18 towers, three ornate facades, and forest-like interior.

Designed by LEGO Architecture designer Rok Žgalin Kobe, the set is recommended for builders ages 18 and older due to its complexity, with an estimated build time of 25 to 35 hours. LEGO said the design aims to faithfully capture the architectural significance of the landmark.

The Sagrada Familia, located in Barcelona, remains the world’s largest Catholic church and is still undergoing finishing work on decorative elements expected to continue into the next decade.
