 NBA SECURES LANDMARK JUDGMENT ON THE STATUS OF LAWYERS IN THE NIGERIA POLICE FORCE  Dear Coleagues, I am pleased to formally inform all members of our dear association of the landmark judgment delivered by the National Industrial Court of Nigeria, Abuja Judicial Division, on 10 July 2026 in Suit No. NICN/ ABJ/264/2025: Incorporated Trustees of the Nigerian Bar Association v. Police Service Commission &5 Ors. This public interest action was instituted by the Nigerian Bar Association through the Section on Public Interest and Development Law (SPIDEL) to seek judicial interpretation and enforcement of the provisions of the Police Act, 2020 and the Rules of Professional Conduct for Legal Practitioners, 2023, particularly as they relate to the status, functions, and deployment of legal practitioners serving within the Nigeria Police Force. MADONNA SAYS PERSONAL EXPERIENCES AND FAMILY EVENTS HELPED SHAPE HER UPCOMING ALBUM, CONFESSIONS II.(PHOTO)

 Madonna says personal experiences and family events helped shape her upcoming album, Confessions II.


In an interview with Interview Magazine, the singer said she began writing songs about family trauma before moving into dance music with longtime collaborator Stuart Price.


She said several events influenced the project, including the d!ath of her stepmother, the illness and d!ath of her brother, and conversations with her daughter, Lourdes.


Madonna also revealed that she and Lourdes wrote a song together titled "The Test." She said her daughter approached her about collaborating as a way to help strengthen their relationship.


The singer said those experiences made her feel it was the right time to create the new record and that she had a lot she wanted to express through the music.


Elsewhere in the interview, Madonna said she limits her time on Instagram because extended use of the platform affects her mood.


She also reflected on changing attitudes toward nudity, saying she now prefers to do things differently from what others are doing.


In addition to working on new music, Madonna recently announced a collaboration with ABSOLUT, released new remixes of "Bring Your Love," and was named global brand ambassador for KIKO Milano.
