 ANAMBRA SECURITY: CP NNANNA URGES PRESIDENTS-GENERAL OF COMMUNITIES TO PRIORITISE SECURITY, STEP UP SUPPORT FOR FIGHT AGAINST CRIMINALITY The Commissioner of Police, Anambra State Command, CP Nnanna Oji Ama, psc, mnips, has called on Presidents-General of communities across the State to place the security and wellbeing of their respective communities at the forefront of their leadership responsibilities. The Commissioner made the call on 4th September 2026 while receiving the Association of Presidents-General of Communities in the State. He noted that the Presidents-General occupy strategic positions in their respective communities and therefore have a crucial role to play in supporting the Police and other security agencies in the fight against criminality.  Missing Minnesota woman found alive after days stuck in muddy puddle, rescuers say

A 68-year-old Minnesota woman who had been reported missing was found alive after spending days trapped in a muddy puddle, according to rescuers.

Kathryn Woessner was last seen on June 3 and was discovered on June 6. Authorities said she had no personal belongings with her when she was located.

According to the men who found her, Woessner said her car had become stuck, and she was attempting to get free when she slipped while moving around the vehicle and fell into a mud-filled area roughly two feet deep. She described the mud as feeling like quicksand.

Rescuers said she told them she had been stuck on her back for several days and had suffered significant sun exposure, including a serious sunburn on her face.

Due to underlying medical conditions, she was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
