 IGP DISU APPROVES POSTING OF NEW POLICE PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICERS TO COMMANDS, FORMATIONS The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, has approved the posting of new Police Public Relations Officers and Public Relations Liaison Officers to selected Commands and Formations of the Nigeria Police Force, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen strategic communication, improve public access to credible Police information and enhance engagement with the media and other stakeholders. Accordingly, SP Johnson A. Doghudje has been posted as Police Public Relations Officer, Zone 5, and can be reached on 08038773657; SP Ojedele Olanrewaju Tunji, anipr, has been posted to Zone 11, Osogbo, and can be reached on 09152481510.  NELFUND Warns Institutions Against Withholding Students' Tuition Refunds 

                                    

The Nigerian Education Loan Fund, NELFUND, says it frowns on reports of tertiary institutions withholding tuition refunds due to students under the Federal Government's student loan scheme.     

       

 NELFUND adds that it is engaging the affected institutions and relevant authorities to ensure compliance.

In a statement by its Director of Strategic Communications, Oseyemi Oluwatuyi, NELFUND also condemns  reports of arbitrary increases in tuition and other institutional charges, describing such practices as contrary to the objectives of the student loan programme. The Fund adds that some institutions had delayed or outrightly refused to refund students who paid their tuition fees before NELFUND subsequently disbursed the same fees on their behalf.

NELFUND notes that the student loan scheme was designed to remove financial barriers to higher education and should not become an avenue for placing additional financial burdens on students.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
