Speaking to Variety, the 51-year-old actress said she feels like she is slowly returning to herself again while discussing her new film Couture, which explores illness and identity in a way that closely mirrors parts of her own journey. “I think my fighting spirit is finally back,” Jolie said. “I lost it for a bit.  NIGERIA SIGNS RECOMMITMENT TO UN CHARTER IN NEW YORK


Ahead of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), Nigeria has signed a recommitment to the United Nations Charter and the UN80 Reform agenda.


Nigeria’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Ambassador Jimoh Ibrahim, signed the recommitment on behalf of President Bola Tinubu, stating that Nigeria remains firmly dedicated to global peace.


Ambassador Ibrahim, who also chairs the Budget, Appropriations and Administration Committee of the UN, said the move reflects Nigeria’s confidence in the future of the United Nations and International cooperation.


In a related engagement, Nigeria’s envoy received United Nations Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed at the Nigeria Mission House, where she was briefed on Nigeria’s strategic direction within the United Nations system.


The meeting also reinforced the mission’s commitment to working closely with UN leadership to implement a 90-day strategic agenda that will strengthen Nigeria's voice in global affairs.
