 RIVERS POLICE COMMAND REACTS TO VIRAL VIDEO ON THE ALLEGED SHOOTING BY A POLICE OFFICER. The attention of the Rivers State Police Command has been drawn to a video circulating on social media on a shooting incident in which a police officer allegedly shot at a motorist while on wheels, resulting in the death of the occupant. Preliminary information indicates that on 27th August 2026, there was an altercation between the occupant, one Anthony Obodo (m) and there was a scuffle between the duo which led to gunshot and subsequently led to the death of the victim, in which two other passersby where injured.   Following the incident, the alleged officer CPL Alfred Louis was attacked and assaulted by an angry mob, leading to him sustaining multiple injuries in the process.  NIGERIA/ UK PARTNERS IN BUILDING SECURITY  CAPACITY TO MEET COMPLEX CHALLENGES


The National Counter Terrorism Centre, Office of the National Security Adviser in partnership with the British High Commission has commenced training programme for the security personnel to improve their operational readiness in response to complex security challenges in the country. 


The capacity-building initiative features Gold, Silver and Bronze, Incident Commanders Courses, alongside an Intelligence Analysis Course, aimed at equipping participants with advanced skills in crisis management, coordinated response and intelligence-driven operations.


The training underscores the commitment of both nations in strengthening Nigeria's security architecture through sustained professional development and enhanced inter-agency collaboration.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
