 GOVERNOR SOLUDO PRESENTS CERTIFICATES OF RECOGNITION TO NSUGBE AND ADAZI-NNUKWU MORNACHS AS ANAMBRA MOVES TO OVERHAUL COMMUNITY GOVERNANCE By Christian ABURIME Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR has declared that permanent peace is a non-negotiable prerequisite for grassroot development, charging newly recognized traditional rulers to act as impartial fathers to all members of their respective domains. Speaking at the Light House, Awka during the presentation of certificates of recognition to the Traditional Ruler of Nsugbe and Adazi-Nnukwu, Igwe John Nzekwesili Nweke and Igwe Aethelbirth Muoka respectively, the Governor offered both congratulations and commiserations and acknowledged the challenges of leadership, noting that opposition to authority is a long-standing reality.  NIGERIAN DEFENCE ACADEMY  SCREENING TEST TO HOLD IN LAGOS ON JUNE 20, 2026


The Lagos State Government, through the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, has informed the general public, particularly prospective candidates, parents, guardians, school administrators, and other relevant stakeholders, that the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) will conduct its Admission Screening Test in Lagos State on Saturday, June 20, 2026.


In preparation for the successful conduct of the exercise, a liaison team from the Nigerian Defence Academy is expected to arrive in Lagos on June 11, 2026, to undertake necessary consultations, coordination activities, and other preparatory arrangements with relevant government agencies and stakeholders.


Prospective candidates are advised to adhere strictly to all guidelines and instructions issued by the Nigerian Defence Academy regarding registration, accreditation, examination procedures, and other requirements. Candidates are also encouraged to regularly monitor official NDA communication channels for updates and further information concerning the screening exercise.


The Lagos State Government remains committed to supporting programmes and initiatives that promote educational advancement, leadership development, and opportunities for young Nigerians to serve the Nation through distinguished institutions such as the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA).
