 Kenyan lawyers boycott courts over alleged judicial corruption Kenyan lawyers staged a nationwide boycott of court proceedings on Wednesday to protest alleged judicial corruption and chronic delays. Cases in the East African nation take an average of two years to conclude, according to official records, with lawyers blaming graft and systemic inefficiencies. "The court boycott is going on in courts across the country, with many lawyers heeding the call," Charles Kanjama, the president of the Law Society of Kenya (LSK), told reporters. However, the judiciary said that accountability mechanisms already exist through the Judicial Service Commission and the Office of the Judiciary Ombudsman, where complaints against judges and judicial officers can be lodged and investigated, according to a statement released prior to the boycott.  Our Little Family Is Growing - Kaley Cuoco Announces Baby No. 2


Kaley Cuoco has some exciting family news to celebrate. The actress is expecting her second child with fiancé Tom Pelphrey.


The Flight Attendant star, 40, shared the announcement on Instagram alongside a collection of family photos featuring Pelphrey, 43, and their three-year-old daughter, Matilda.


One of the pictures showed the family gathered around a colorful cake that revealed the baby's gender. A slice missing from the cake exposed a pink center, confirming that the couple is expecting another daughter.


Cuoco also included several photos documenting her pregnancy journey so far, including mirror selfies showing off her growing baby bump.


“Completing our little family, what a dream come true!” she wrote. “This second time around journey has been a little windier in many ways, but wow, we are so grateful for this moment.”


She also revealed the baby's gender with a playful message, writing, “Little sissy on the way!!! Tom is officially a girl dad for life.”


Adding a touch of humor, Cuoco joked about the final photo in the slideshow, which showed their daughter making a cheeky hand gesture.


The happy announcement comes after Cuoco previously hinted that expanding her family could happen before wedding plans moved forward.


In a 2024 interview, she admitted that she and Pelphrey had not started organizing a wedding and joked that another child might arrive before they exchanged vows.


“We're going way out of order,” she said at the time with a laugh.


Meanwhile, little Matilda has been keeping her parents busy. Cuoco previously described her daughter as energetic and adventurous, saying she loves airplanes, helicopters, monster trucks, horses, and spending time outdoors with her dad.


Cuoco and Pelphrey got engaged in August 2024, sharing the news with fans through social media. Their engagement came more than two years after the couple publicly confirmed their relationship in 2022.
