Military judge suppresses Khalid Sheikh Mohammed’s FBI confession in 9/11 case A military judge has excluded a confession that alleged Sept. 11 attacks mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed gave to FBI agents nearly 20 years ago, ruling that the statements were not made voluntarily. The decision is a setback for the U.S. government's long-running effort to prosecute Mohammed, who is accused of helping develop the plot to hijack planes and crash them into the World Trade Center and Pentagon. Mohammed remains detained at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, alongside other defendants awaiting trial. Lt. Col. Michael Schrama, the judge overseeing the case, scheduled a June 2028 trial for Mohammed and three other defendants earlier this week.  Prince George has ‘fond memories’ of Prince Harry, wants to ‘understand why he hasn’t seen him in years’

Prince William has reportedly had heartfelt conversations with his eldest son, Prince George, as the family prepares for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s return to the U.K.

According to In Touch, George, now 12, has begun asking more questions about the strained relationship between his father and uncle.

William decided it was time to be more open, recognizing that George is old enough to understand the complexities of family dynamics.

For years, William and Kate had explained Harry’s absence to their children as a matter of distance, hoping to shield them from the tension. But George’s fond memories of his uncle prompted him to seek clarity.

William, sources say, wanted to be honest without fostering resentment, framing the situation as a lesson George could carry into his future role as king. He emphasized that while difficulties exist, anger should not be the takeaway.

The conversations reflect William’s effort to balance transparency with compassion. He reportedly sees this as an opportunity to prepare George for the responsibilities he will inherit, including navigating family challenges with maturity.

With Harry and Meghan’s visit approaching, William felt it was no longer possible to pretend everything was fine, choosing instead to guide his son through the reality of royal life.
