 Jackson police say hanging death of mother of four was staged in drug case gone wrong  Jackson police say the death of 29-year-old Tasia Fortune, whose body was found hanging from a tree in early August, was a staged scene connected to what investigators believe was a drug-related case that went wrong. Police Chief RaShall Brackney said Monday that Fortune's death has been classified as a homicide and that investigators believe the scene was deliberately arranged to mislead authorities. Three men have been arrested and charged with murder in connection with Fortune's death: 51-year-old Jarques Ratliff, 25-year-old Earnest Lloyd Jr. and 45-year-old Eric Clark. Police said Fortune had a known association with the suspects. Ratliff pleaded not guilty at a Sept. 14 hearing. The status of pleas and legal representation for Lloyd and Clark was not immediately clear. Police said the investigation remains active and that additional arrests are possible.  Russia condemns armed attack on airport in Niger’s capital


Russia on Saturday condemned an attack on the main airport in Niger's capital and expressed support for the country's authorities in the country.


Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in a statement that Moscow is concerned by the attack on Niamey's international airport on Thursday.


At least 22 attackers were killed in the exchange of fire during the attack on Niamey International Airport, according to a provisional toll released by the country's Defense Ministry on Thursday, which also stated that approximately 21 suspects were arrested following the assault.


The authorities also report that 11 defense and security personnel, as well as two civilians, were killed. Four people were injured.


"Russia strongly condemns this latest attack by terrorists seeking to undermine the stability of the Confederation of Sahel States," Zakharova said, AA reported.


Moscow also expressed solidarity with the people and leadership of Niger, including President Abdourahamane Tiani.


Niger is a member of the Confederation of Sahel States, a regional alliance formed by Niger, Mali, and Burkina Faso.
