 EFCC Arraigns One for  N700m Fraud in Lagos  The Lagos Zonal Directorate 1 of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Friday, September 4, 2026, arraigned Osaretin Osagiede before Justice Olukayode Ogunjobi of the Lagos State High Court sitting in Ikeja,  over an alleged N700 million fraud. Osagiede is standing trial on a three-count charge bordering on unauthorised access to computer material and receiving stolen property to the tune of N700 million.  Count one reads: “That you Osaretin Osagiede and Zacharia Lorshe (at large), between March, 2025 and January 2026, in Lagos, within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court, intentionally caused the Ravenpay user accounts' two-factor authentication (2FA) method to be bypassed, with the intent to secure unauthorised access to the bank's data and committed an offence contrary to Section 387 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State 2011.  Corey Feldman released from hospital after in-flight medical emergency, diagnosed with food poisoning following Chicago-to-Los Angeles flight

Actor Corey Feldman has been released from the hospital after experiencing a medical emergency on a flight to Los Angeles, according to his publicist.

The 54-year-old actor, known for his roles in 1980s films including The Goonies and Stand by Me, was taken off the plane after it landed at Los Angeles International Airport on Monday and hospitalized overnight for evaluation.

Medical staff reportedly ruled out gallstones and conducted an MRI before determining that Feldman was suffering from a severe case of food poisoning, according to his publicist.

Feldman has recently been traveling across the country for special screenings marking the 40th anniversary of Stand by Me, appearing alongside co-stars such as Jerry O’Connell and Wil Wheaton. He had attended events in Indianapolis and Chicago, with the Chicago screening taking place the day before his flight back to Los Angeles.

Following his release, Feldman appeared active on social media again, sharing a preview of a new song titled “what am I here 4” late Tuesday night.
