 Kaduna Begins Free Eye Screening For 1,000 Residents The Kaduna State Government, in partnership with Sightsavers and other stakeholders, has commenced a free eye screening exercise aimed at reaching 1,000 residents across the state. The exercise took place on Thursday at Gonin-Gora in Chikun Local Government Area as part of activities marking the 2026 World Sight Day, celebrated under the theme, “Love Your Eyes.” Speaking during the programme, a Consultant Ophthalmologist and Senior Lecturer at Kaduna State University, Dr Stanley Bulus, cautioned residents about the dangers of glaucoma, describing it as a “silent thief of sight.” Bulus explained that the screening exercise was designed to identify eye conditions early and provide treatment or referrals where necessary.  EFCC Arraigns Blessing CEO for Alleged N69.1m Fraud Case as Court Grants N10m Bail in Separate Matter


The Lagos Zonal Directorate 1 of the EFCC, on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, again arraigned a social media influencer and self-acclaimed relationship therapist, Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, also known as Blessing CEO, for an alleged N69,150,000 (Sixty-Nine Million, One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira) fraud. She was arraigned before Justice R.A. Oshodi of the Special Offences Court sitting in Ikeja, Lagos. Nkiruka was arraigned on a two-count charge bordering on obtaining money by false pretence and stealing to the tune of N69,150,000. At the commencement of the proceedings, the prosecution counsel, C. C. Okezie, urged the court to proceed with the arraignment, arguing that the defendant had been duly served with the charge. However, the defence counsel, Nkama Nneka, informed the court that service of the charge had only recently been effected. In his ruling, Justice Oshodi held that the arraignment should proceed in accordance with the law, hence the charges were subsequently read to the defendant. Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
