 Agha Mba Inspects Sports Facilities Across Anambra, Pledges Rehabilitation of Stadiums By Ifeoma Aniagbado The Anambra State Commissioner for Youth Development and Sports, Mr. Patrick Agha Mba has embarked on an inspection tour of major sports facilities across the state as part of efforts to assess their condition and chart a path for their rehabilitation. The inspection was conducted on June 2, covering the Chuba Ikpeazu Stadium in Onitsha North Local Government Area, Otuocha Township Stadium in Anambra East, Godwin Achebe Stadium in Onitsha South, Ogidi Stadium in Njikoka, Solution Stadium in Aguata and Awka City Stadium in Awka South. Speaking during the exercise, the commissioner said the visit was aimed at evaluating the current state of the facilities and identifying areas requiring urgent intervention to restore them to full functionality.  Peabo Bryson, the legendary R&B singer known for his iconic Disney duets, has sadly passed away at the age of 75 after suffering a stroke just days prior. His family released a statement confirming his death, which occurred on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. 

With a career spanning over five decades, Bryson won two Grammy Awards for his work on Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" and "Aladdin" 1 2, Bryson's legacy extends beyond his Disney hits, with a discography that includes chart-topping soul records and duets with renowned female singers. He was known as the "Voice of Love" for his smooth and soulful voice. 

Some of his notable works include "A Whole New World" with Regina Belle and "Beauty and the Beast" with Celine Dion 3 Before his passing, Bryson was celebrating his 50 year music legacy with the "Golden Touch Tour" and had announced a new album "Grace" produced by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, set for release in 2026.

He also released a single titled "Bailando Baila" in March 2026

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
