 KADIRS Warns Residents Against Fake Revenue Collectors, Introduces E-Demand Notice As Sole Payment Authorization The Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) has cautioned taxpayers and residents of Kaduna State against making revenue payments without first obtaining an official E-Demand Notice (Pay Advice), warning that fraudsters may exploit outdated payment processes to defraud the public. In a public announcement issued on Thursday, KADIRS said the move forms part of its ongoing efforts to automate revenue collection and enhance transparency across the state.  The agency disclosed that manual demand notices previously used for Local Government revenue collection have been phased out and are no longer recognized. According to KADIRS, the E-Demand Notice (Pay Advice) has officially replaced the former Local Government Harmonized Demand Notice and is now the only valid document for on-the-spot taxpayer assessment through the state's Central Billing System.  Yobe State Governor  Buni Cuts Down Tractor Hiring Fees To Farmers By 50%


Yobe  state Governor Mai Mala Buni has to reduce the cost of hiring tractors by fifty per cent from N100,000 to N50,000.


The Acting Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr Mohammed Goje, who disclosed the development, described it as part of the administration's commitment to easing the burden on farmers and promoting increased agricultural production.


He said the 50 per cent reduction in tractor hiring fees would enable more farmers to access mechanised farming services, cultivate larger expanses of land and improve productivity during the current farming season.


According to him, the intervention is expected to lower the cost of cultivation, enhance food production and contribute significantly to food security in the state.
