 62-Year-Old Brazilian Rancher Kills 24-Year-Old Girlfriend After She Ended Their 4-Month Relationship A 62-year-old Brazilian cattle rancher has reportedly shut and k!lled his 24-year-old girlfriend moments after she ended their relationship, following months of alleged threats and controlling behaviour. Priscila Lacerda Custodio, a digital marketing professional, had been dating João Roberto Bolelli for just four months before deciding to walk away from the relationship. According to Globo, a friend revealed that Custodio had complained about Bolelli hiring people to monitor her movements and threatening to k!ll her. He reportedly questioned her about her travels, repeatedly accused her of infidelity and allegedly assaulted her four days before her death.  144 migrants dead or missing off Mauritania: UN refugee agency


The UN refugee agency said on Tuesday that 144 people have been reported dead or missing off the coast of Mauritania in an effort to reach Europe.


The toll comes after three rescue operations in Mauritania between July 14-18, the UN agency said, calling for more access to education and labour opportunities to create alternatives to dangerous sea crossings.


A total of 143 people died on board a single vessel which left from Bufaloto, Gambia, after 25 days stranded at sea.


It was carrying bodies and 38 survivors, according to UNHCR which was present at disembarkation in Nouadhibou, Mauritania to provide support.
