KENYAN LAWYERS BOYCOTT COURTS OVER ALLEGED JUDICIAL CORRUPTION. (PHOTO).
15-year-old Josiah Harris was at his Akron, Ohio, home on Tuesday, June 30th, when his 14-year-old friend dropped by for a visit.
As Josiah's friend approached the house, Josiah's dog became aggressive and charged the visiting teen. The dog latched onto the 14-year-old visitor's arm during the attack.
Josiah rushed to his friends aid. Unfortunately, Josiah's friend pulled a hand gun and began firing at the dog. The rounds not only struck the dog but also Josiah as he was trying to pull his dog off of his friend.
The 14-year-old ran from the home after both Josiah and the dog had been shot. He went to a nearby residence, and a 911 call was placed.
First responders arrived on the scene at approximately 7:20 p.m. and Josiah was rushed to the hospital. Sadly, he was pronounced deceased upon arrival.
The 14-year-old who had fired the weapon was also treated for injuries sustained during the attack. The dog also received emergency care and is expected to recover.
There have been no charges filed in this tragic incident at this point.
Josiah was one sibling of a set of triplets leaving behind two twin sisters and a large extended family who are heartbroken at this senseless loss of life.
Our thoughts are with Josiah's family.
