Randall Wallace says Mel Gibson warned 'Satan's going to come after you' before writing The Resurrection of the Christ Screenwriter Randall Wallace has revealed that Mel Gibson warned him about potential spiritual challenges before the pair began writing The Resurrection of the Christ, the sequel to The Passion of the Christ. Speaking on Raymond Arroyo's Arroyo Grande podcast, Wallace said he was the one who first suggested making a film focused on the resurrection of Jesus while he and Gibson were promoting Hacksaw Ridge in 2016. “Mel didn't approach me. I approached him, actually,” Wallace said. According to Wallace, Gibson had already spent years thinking about telling the Resurrection story. He noted that the original cut of The Passion of the Christ did not include the resurrection scene that was eventually added at the end of the film after audience feedback. Wallace said he encouraged Gibson to expand that part of the story into a full-length feature. “Havin...

A 20-YEAR-OLD UTAH YOUNG UTAH WOMAN STAYED HOME WHEN HER FATHER TOOK HER MOTHER AND HER THREE BROTHERS OUT TO ENJOY A DAY IN NATURE. THEY WOULD NEVER RETURN FROM THE TRIP.(PHOTO).

A 20-year-old Utah young Utah woman stayed home when her father took her mother and her three brothers out to enjoy a day in nature. They would never return from the trip.

An entire family, sadly, lost their lives after being swept away by a sudden flashflood in Wayne County, Utah.

According to reports, 58-year-old Spencer Long, who was a captain with the Provo Fire & Rescue, had taken his three sons- Thayne, Gage, and Reid along with his wife Katrina for a family outing. Only his daughter Lydia decided to stay behind.

Spencer had loaded up the family and headed out for some hiking and canyoneering close to Bicknell in Wayne County, Utah, on Friday, July 17th.

This attempt to spend some quality time as a family would end in heartbreak as the entire family perished together.

As the family traversed the dramatic landscape, a sudden thunderstorm erupted from seemingly nowhere. The storm dumped a significantly large amount of water in a very short time, causing catastrophic flashflooding in the area.

When the family failed to return from their outdoor expedition that evening, they were officially reported as missing.

Deputies would make a startling discovery while responding to a call at the Sunglow Campground. The bodies of Spencer and two of his sons were discovered in a wash created by the recent flashflooding. Katrina and the couple's other son were discovered Saturday morning.

The exact location of where the Long family was when the flooding began is not certain.

Their deaths have come as a complete shock to the community where both Spencer and Katrina were well-known, and liked by all.

Our thoughts are with their daughter Lydia as she attempts to navigate a future without her family. Our thoughts are with everyone who loved them.

This is a huge loss.
