 PRESIDENT OF GERMANY LAUDS THE LEADERSHIP ROLE OF NIGERIA AND PRESENT TINUBU IN ECOWAS  The President of Germany, Frank Walter  Steinmeier has commended President Bola Tinubu for the excellent relations between the two countries especially their State to State visits and frequent meetings at the sidelines of multi lateral fora. He also talked on the expeditious processing of The Designate - incoming German Ambassador to Nigeria, to replace the re - designated incumbent.  A statement by the Nigeria Ambassador to Germany, Senator Ita Solomon Enang indicates that the Bilateral discussions centred, among others on Economic relations, the power sector, and in particular the off grid Technology, the Siemens power, Agricultural, food and citizen diplomacy, Migration and Consular matters, particularly provisions for Skilled Nigerians in Medical, Technology, I T, AI, and sundry skills, crafts, etc all to be engaged in the varied sectors of the German economy through formal p...

A SWEET 6-YEAR-OLD BOY HAS LOST HIS LIFE DURING A DAY AT THE BEACH WHEN A PIECE OF DRIFTWOOD HIT HIM ON THE HEAD.(PHOTO).

 A sweet 6-year-old boy has lost his life during a day at the beach when a piece of driftwood hit him on the head.


Killian Gonzalez and his sister were having a fun day at Little Squalicum Beach in Bellingham, Washington, on July 8th with their babysitter.


As Killian was exploring a fort made from driftwood, something shifted, and a huge 200 pound log broke free and came tumbling straight for Killian. 


Killian realized he was in danger and attempted to run, but sadly, he was not able to outrun the log.


The huge log caught him in the back of the head and Killian fell to the ground. Killian was ultimately pinned to the ground under the log until help arrived.


Killian's parents rushed to the beach after getting the call no parent ever wants to hear. 


As they arrived, they were met by the sight of first responders desperately attempting to save their son's life. 


Killian was flown to a nearby hospital that could manage his injuries.  Upon arrival, Killian was intubated due to a collapsed lung.


In addition to the collapsed lung, Killian also suffered from multiple skull fractures and facial injuries. 


Killian would cling to life for four days before ultimately succumbing to his injuries on Sunday, July 12th.


Our thoughts are with Killian's family as they process this loss.
