ABIA POLICE COMMAND APPREHENDS SUSPECT FOR ARMED ROBBERY


*SUSPECT*

Chidera Okorie, male, 22 years, of Obinolu Ngodo Isiochi.


*FACTS OF THE CASE*

1. Leveraging on actionable intelligence, on 05/07/2026, operatives of the Isuochi Divisional Police Headquarters apprehended Chidera Okorie, a 22-year-old male from Obinolu Ngodo Isiochi. The suspect is known to be habitually robbing unsuspecting members of the public using a stainless lighter designed to resemble a pistol, thereby instilling fear in his victims and dispossessing them of their belongings. During his arrest, other related items were recovered from his possession. Investigation is ongoing, and the suspect will be charged to court upon conclusion of the investigation.
