 NDPC LAUNCHES FORENSIC DATA PRIVACY INVESTIGATION INTO UNILAG, LOTUS BANK, AND HACKERBELLA The Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) is investigating the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Lotus Bank, and Hackerbella Ltd. This probe follows complaints that student data was used to open bank accounts without permission. The data sharing was reportedly part of a "Smart ID Card" project that mixed student IDs with bank cards. National Commissioner and Chief Executive Officer NDPC, Dr. Vincent Olatunji, ordered a full review of how this student information was collected and shared. Investigators are checking if the organizations followed the Nigeria Data Protection Act of 2023. They will look into the companies' privacy notices, data security, and whether they used automated systems to score or profile students.  Adele Opens Up About Son Angelo and Their Shared Interest in Formula 1


Adele spoke about her son Angelo during a visit to McLaren Racing headquarters on Friday, where she also met senior team figures and Formula 1 drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri.


The 38-year-old singer discussed how her 13-year-old son, whom she shares with ex-husband Simon Konecki, has developed an interest in karting, which sparked her own growing involvement in Formula 1.


She said the interest began after Angelo started asking about motorsport a few years ago.


“He just sort of asked about it a couple of years ago and I was like, ‘All right,’” she said. “I don’t know many teenagers who have a passion so I’m really trying to encourage it. He’s obsessed but I’m also obsessed.”


Adele added that the shared interest has become a regular point of connection between them.


“I don’t think I ever expected to bond with my soon to be 14-year-old son about something so passionately where we argue about drivers,” she said. “But it’s fun to have that interaction with a teenage boy in 2026, I wasn’t expecting it.”


During the visit, Adele also took part in a conversation with reigning Formula 1 World Champion Lando Norris, who asked her whether she still enjoys singing.
