Former Miss SA contestant Chidimma and Miss Universe Nigeria Adetshina has appeared in the Cape Town Regional Court to challenge her deportation. Authorities want her out of the country because she has been allegedly staying witjiut valid documents.

This development comes in the wake of anti-immigration activism in South Africa, and souring diplomatic relations between South Africa and Nigeria. Just yesterday, the South African Government issued a warning against Nigeria, Ghana and other African countries planning to nationalise the South African companies and assets abroad not to do so, claiming the consequences would be castrophic for host nations.
