 LAGOS EMPOWERS FISH FARMERS IN IKEJA DIVISION WITH TRAINING, EQUIPMENT  … Reaffirms Commitment To Building 21st-Century Economy As part of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu's commitment to advancing the T.H.E.M.E.S. Plus Agenda and positioning Lagos State as a 21st Century economy through the socio-economic empowerment of rural communities, the Centre for Rural Development (CERUD), under the Office of Rural Development in the Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, has commenced the 2026 Fish Farming Training and Empowerment Programme across the five divisions of the State. The programme, themed "Building a Resilient Socio-Economic Community through Youth Empowerment," commenced its first edition for the year at the Secretariat of Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government Area in the Ikeja Division. Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift’s friendship stretches back more than a decade, beginning when he joined her Red Tour in 2012. Over the years, they’ve collaborated on songs like “Everything Has Changed,” “The Joker and the Queen,” and “Run,” while maintaining a bond Sheeran has often described as sibling-like. 


Despite their busy lives, he says reconnecting with Swift always feels effortless, as if no time has passed.


Sheeran and his wife Cherry Seaborn were among the guests spotted in New York City for Swift’s wedding to NFL star Travis Kelce on July 3. The couple, who married after rekindling their relationship at Swift’s famous Fourth of July party in 2015, marked their anniversary the same weekend as the wedding festivities. 


Sheeran’s casual tux-and-sneakers look contrasted with Seaborn’s bright yellow dress, making them one of the standout pairs at the star-studded event.


Their attendance highlighted the enduring closeness between Sheeran and Swift, who announced her engagement to Kelce in August 2025 after more than two years together. 


Though Sheeran learned of the proposal through social media like everyone else, he later shared that he and Swift spent hours catching up soon after. 


For both artists, their friendship has been shaped by touring, collaboration, and shared milestones, evolving into a lasting connection that continues to thrive alongside their personal lives.
