Former U.S. President Joe Biden's son, Hunter says he’s ‘48 percent gay’ Hunter Biden, the 56-year-old son of former U.S. President Joe Biden, made lighthearted comments regarding his personal life and sexuality during an appearance on The Luke Beasley Show podcast. In the interview, host Luke Beasley questioned Biden about his orientation. Biden responded in a humorous vein, offering precise, lighthearted estimates of his sexuality. "Only a little bit," Biden remarked during the exchange, before jokingly quantifying the figure at "48.6 percent." During the 90-minute episode, Beasley presented Biden with an AI-generated image depicting the two in a physical embrace, prompting Biden to joke about his past years of substance abuse prior to his recovery in 2019. FIRST RANSOM NOTE IN NANCY GUTHRIE CASE WARNED SAVANNAH GUTHRIE: 'YOUR MOTHER'S LIFE IS IN YOUR HANDS'. (PHOTO).

First ransom note in Nancy Guthrie case warned Savannah Guthrie: 'Your mother's life is in your hands'

New details have emerged about the first ransom note sent after the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, with the message warning her daughter, Savannah Guthrie, that her mother's life depended on meeting a multimillion-dollar ransom demand.

Nancy Guthrie has been missing since Jan. 31 and was reported missing the following day. Investigators believe she was abducted from her Tucson, Arizona, home during the early hours of the morning by a masked individual captured on surveillance footage near her front door.

Speaking on the Crime Junkie podcast, crime journalist Briana Whitney read portions of the first ransom note, which began: "Hello, Savannah. We have your mother, Nancy. She is safe but scared."

According to Whitney, the note said Nancy would be held for ransom for up to seven days and promised she would be released within 12 hours of payment being received in a specified Bitcoin account.

The message reportedly demanded an initial payment of $4 million in Bitcoin by Feb. 5, with the amount increasing to $6 million if the first deadline was missed. It also warned that if payment was not made by the final deadline, Nancy would be killed.

The note stated: "Your mother is aware of this and her life is in your hands," while also claiming there would be no negotiations and advising that law enforcement would not be able to help.

Whitney said the sender also included details from inside and outside Nancy Guthrie's home, including the location of a white smartwatch near her bed and damage to a floodlight in the backyard. She said the FBI continues to examine the note as potentially genuine.

The disclosure follows reports in June that a second ransom note was sent to the Guthrie family and several media organisations. According to NBC News, that message claimed Nancy, 84, had died but did not request payment or offer to return her body.

Following reports about the second note, Savannah Guthrie appealed for information during an appearance on the Today show, asking anyone with knowledge of the case to come forward.

She said the uncertainty surrounding her mother's disappearance continues to affect her family every day as investigators work to determine what happened.
