 ANAMBRA SECURITY: CP NNANNA URGES PRESIDENTS-GENERAL OF COMMUNITIES TO PRIORITISE SECURITY, STEP UP SUPPORT FOR FIGHT AGAINST CRIMINALITY The Commissioner of Police, Anambra State Command, CP Nnanna Oji Ama, psc, mnips, has called on Presidents-General of communities across the State to place the security and wellbeing of their respective communities at the forefront of their leadership responsibilities. The Commissioner made the call on 4th September 2026 while receiving the Association of Presidents-General of Communities in the State. He noted that the Presidents-General occupy strategic positions in their respective communities and therefore have a crucial role to play in supporting the Police and other security agencies in the fight against criminality.  Gov. Uba Sani To Launch Free Fertiliser, Tractor Distribution For 150,000 Kaduna Farmers


The Kaduna State Government is set to commence the distribution of free fertiliser and mechanised tractors to 150,000 smallholder farmers as part of efforts to boost agricultural productivity and enhance food security across the state.


The initiative will be officially flagged off by the Governor of Kaduna State, His Excellency, Senator Uba Sani, CON.  


The intervention is aimed at empowering smallholder farmers by improving access to essential farming inputs and mechanised equipment, with the goal of increasing crop yields, reducing production costs, and strengthening livelihoods across Kaduna State.
