Kanye West Former Exec Milo Yiannopoulos Deported by ICE, Flown Back to UK Right-wing commentator and former Kanye West executive Milo Yiannopoulos has been deported from the US and returned to the United Kingdom after being detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). According to federal law enforcement sources cited by TMZ, Yiannopoulos was taken from a holding facility in Alexandria, Louisiana, and transported to another state airport where he boarded a flight to the UK. ICE confirmed with UK authorities that he had arrived. A Department of Homeland Security spokesperson also confirmed he was deported “back to his home country.” Yiannopoulos was arrested by ICE on Thursday night after landing at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport. He was then moved to the Louisiana facility for undocumented detainees awaiting removal. A federal judge issued him a final removal order on July 22, 2026, after he overstayed his authorized period.  INEC TO BEGIN PVC DISTRIBUTION AHEAD OF OSUN GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION


The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, says it will commence the distribution of Permanent Voter Cards, PVCs to eligible voters in Osun State ahead of the August 15 governorship election from Wednesday, July 22 to  Friday 7th August, 2026. 


In a statement, the Resident Electoral Commissioner in Osun State, Oluwatoyin Babalola, said the exercise is for persons who registered, applied for transfer of registration, requested replacement of lost and damaged PVCs, or updated their records during the recently concluded Continuous Voter Registration, CVR exercise.


The statement explained that the distribution will begin at the 332 Registration Areas across the state from Wednesday, July 22 to Tuesday, July 28, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily, including weekends.


It added that the exercise will subsequently continue at INEC Local Government Area offices from Wednesday, July 29 to Friday, August 7, also from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.


Babalola reminded voters that PVC collection is strictly personal, stressing that collection by proxy is prohibited and constitutes an offence under the law.


The commission urged all eligible voters to collect their PVCs within the stipulated period, noting that the Permanent Voter Card remains the only valid means of accreditation for voting on election day.


The commission reaffirmed its commitment to conducting a free, fair, credible, inclusive and transparent governorship election in Osun State.
