Michelle Obama 'doesn't miss' her daughters after they left home but Barack Obama 'cried' when they went to college Michelle Obama recently joked about how life has changed since her daughters, Sasha and Malia, left home. On her IMO podcast with Jon Stewart and her brother Craig Robinson, the former First Lady quipped that she doesn’t miss them, even though she loves them dearly and still sees them often.  She contrasted her reaction with Barack Obama’s, noting that he cried when they went off to college, while she cheerfully said goodbye. Sasha graduated from USC in 2023, and Malia, who finished Harvard in 2021, is now building a career in Hollywood. JENNIFER GARNER’S DECISION NOT TO APOLOGIZE TO HER CHILDREN RESONATES WITH MOTHERS GLOBALLY. (PHOTO).

Jennifer Garner’s decision not to apologize to her children resonates with mothers globally

Jennifer Garner has offered a heartfelt look at the realities of balancing motherhood with her Hollywood career, emphasizing that she refuses to feel guilty for working. In a candid interview with InStyle, the actress explained that she wants to model the value of hard work for her children rather than apologize for missing certain moments.

Garner acknowledged that her career has sometimes meant sacrificing everyday parenting duties like school pickups or being the “Lunch Mom,” but she believes those experiences have taught her family that life is about resilience and balance, not perfection.

She also reflected on a period when she intentionally stepped back from acting to prioritize her children, especially during what she described as a time of upheaval in her family.

Now that her kids are older, Garner has returned to acting with renewed enthusiasm, grateful to embrace projects while still being present as a mother. She stressed that her role as “Mom” remains constant, even as her career regains momentum.

Looking ahead, Garner has set clear boundaries to ensure her work doesn’t pull her too far from home.

She primarily accepts projects filmed in Los Angeles so she can remain close to her children, and she advocates for more productions to shoot locally to help families in the industry stay connected.

Her perspective offers a refreshing reminder that working parents don’t need to strive for perfection or feel guilty instead, they can show their children the value of dedication, balance, and joy in both family and professional life.
