 Bandits Kill Resident, Abduct Nine In Chikun Community Suspected bandits have killed a resident and abducted nine people, including his wife and two children, in Babban Saura (PW) community, Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State. The attack reportedly occurred in the early hours of Thursday when the assailants invaded three houses in the community. A community source told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that the attackers first stormed the home of an elderly man and abducted two of his children. The source said the assailants later moved to the residence of a man identified as Sikiru, broke through the fence and gained entry into the compound. According to the source, Sikiru confronted the attackers after they entered his parlour, resulting in a struggle between him and some of the assailants.
