Keith Urban 'wanted Nicole Kidman back' after divorce, but she had 'already moved on,' source says

Keith Urban reportedly hoped to salvage his marriage to Nicole Kidman after she filed for divorce following nearly two decades together. According to insiders, the country star believed they could overcome their differences and reconcile, but Kidman had already decided the relationship was finished.

Tensions had reportedly been mounting for some time, with claims of Urban singing another woman’s name in a song meant for Kidman and the couple living largely separate lives before the split.

Since the breakup, Urban has been linked to rising country artist Karley Scott Collins, while Kidman has been spotted spending time with private equity investor Michael Reinstein.

Despite speculation about their personal lives, Kidman has emphasized that her priority is co‑parenting their daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret. Reports suggest she has the majority of custody, with Urban seeing the girls on weekends, and insiders claim the children have sided with their mother during the separation.

The situation has reportedly strained Urban’s relationship with his daughters, with sources alleging he felt hurt when Sunday Rose accompanied Kidman to the Met Gala and that both girls have distanced themselves from him on social media.

Rumors also suggest they are reluctant to meet his rumored new girlfriend.  Friends say the sisters are focused on supporting their mother and adjusting to the changes, leaving Urban feeling sidelined despite his desire to maintain a close bond with them.
