Kendra Wilkinson has shared that a client ended their working relationship with her, prompting her to speak about the challenges she has been facing in her real estate career.
In a post on her Instagram Stories, the former reality television star uploaded a photo of herself in tears and wrote that a client had dismissed her after the work she had put into the transaction.
She later posted a video, saying the experience had been difficult and that she has been finding her work increasingly challenging.
"I know that we're living in a world of struggle right now," Wilkinson said. "It's so hard right now."
Wilkinson said she believes she is doing her best both personally and professionally. She noted that she is focused on raising her two children, Hank Jr., 16, and Alijah, 12, whom she shares with former husband Hank Baskett.
She also said she has recently dealt with disagreements with people she works with, losing clients and encountering rude behavior, adding that the combination of those experiences has affected her.
Wilkinson transitioned from reality television into real estate after obtaining her California real estate license in 2020. She has since worked in the luxury property market in Malibu.
In a March interview with Realtor.com, Wilkinson said her real estate business had expanded after she was selected to represent several luxury homes valued between $6 million and $20 million that were developed by Amit Apel. She said the opportunity came after a chance meeting with his son, Vittal Apel, at a shopping mall.
