Mason Haynes, a bodyguard who worked with Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner and other members of their team, has died at the age of 52 following a road traffic accident.
His death was confirmed through a GoFundMe page created to support his family and help cover funeral expenses. According to the fundraiser, Haynes died on July 4, two days before what would have been his 53rd birthday.
"Mason's life was taken far too soon in a tragic road traffic accident," the fundraiser states. It adds that he is survived by his wife, Fay, daughter Brooke, son Noah, and other family members and friends.
The page describes Haynes as someone who made people feel welcome and was always willing to help others.
"A protector. A mentor. A prankster. A giant in every sense of the word, with an even bigger heart," the fundraiser says.
Organisers said donations will go toward funeral costs and help ease the immediate financial responsibilities facing his family following his death.
Haynes was known for working in personal security and had previously served as a bodyguard for Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner and other high-profile clients.
