 Gehgeh Challenges VeryDarkMan: Accuses Activist of Targeting Davido Over Burna Boy Friendship and Political Stance Social media personality Gehgeh has publicly confronted activist VeryDarkMan (VDM), accusing him of treating music star Davido as an adversary due to his close ties with fellow artist Burna Boy. Gehgeh also questioned VDM's alleged threat to “wash down” Davido if the singer continued to comment on Nigerian politics. In a recent video, Gehgeh advised VeryDarkMan to cease his perceived attacks on Davido regarding his political affiliations. He argued that Davido, like any other Nigerian citizen, possesses the fundamental right to support any political candidate of his choice without facing intimidation. LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT WON EUROPE, MIDDLE EAST AND AFRICA FINANCE (EMEAFINANCE) ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS 2025 IN RECOGNITION OF ITS DEBUT N14.815 BILLION GREEN BOND ISSUANCE AS THE BEST GREEN BOND IN AFRICA.(PHOTOS). #PRESS RELEASE

 Lagos State government won Europe, Middle East and Africa Finance (EMEAFINANCE) achievement Awards 2025 in recognition of its debut N14.815 Billion Green Bond Issuance as the best Green Bond in Africa. 

The award presented in London was received on behalf of Lagos State by Mrs. Hauwa Bello, Country Head, Public Sector Group, Stanbic IBTC.

Presenting the award to Lagos State government which was received by the Permanent Secretary, Debt Management Office, Mrs. Alake Sanusi on behalf of the State Government. 

Mrs. Bello congratulated the State for emerging as the Best Issuer of the Green Bond in 2025 with her debut Green Bond Issuance. She encourages the State to sustain the efficient management of the state finance that influenced the emergence of the State as the winner.

Receiving the  award on behalf of Mr. Governor, Mrs. Alake Sanusi, Permanent Secretary, Debt Management Office and Dr. John Adetola, Accountant General/Permanent Secretary appreciated Stanbic IBTC for receiving the award on behalf of the State. She stated that the award is a testament to the efficient, transparent and accountable management of the State finances and that the award is a further challenge to sustain the current form for more recognition in the future.

She declared that the award is dedicated to Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, for his leadership, Commissioner of Finance and good people of the State.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
