 Islam Makhachev sets UFC record with 17th straight win, defends welterweight title at UFC 330   Islam Makhachev overcame a bruised and battered face to make UFC history Saturday night, earning a unanimous decision over Ian Machado Garry and successfully defending his welterweight championship at UFC 330. The victory gave Makhachev his 17th consecutive UFC win, breaking his tie with UFC Hall of Famer Anderson Silva for the longest winning streak in promotional history. Makhachev improved to 29-1 and has not lost since 2015. Judges scored the five-round bout 49-46 twice and 48-47. Although Machado Garry gave Makhachev a competitive fight, the champion maintained control when it mattered most. NFL Star Eric Bieniemy's Son Arrested For Allegedly Shooting His Mom


The 27-year-old son of NFL coach Eric Bieniemy has been arrested after allegedly shooting his mother, Mia Bieniemy, at the family's home in Ashburn, Virginia.


According to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office, Elijah Zion Bieniemy was taken into custody following the incident on Sunday evening and is being held without bail. Authorities allege that Elijah Bieniemy shot his mother multiple times inside the family home.


He has been charged with malicious wounding, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and discharging a firearm inside a dwelling. 


Investigators have not disclosed what led to the alleged shooting, and the circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation.


Mia Bieniemy's condition has not been publicly confirmed. Elijah is one of Eric and Mia Bieniemy's two children. At the time of the incident, Eric Bieniemy, the Kansas City Chiefs' offensive coordinator, was reportedly in Missouri preparing for the team's training camp.


Following news of the incident, the Chiefs issued a brief statement. "The club is aware of the incident involving Eric Bieniemy's family," the statement said. "Out of respect for their privacy, we won't have a comment at this time. Our thoughts and prayers are with them." The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said the investigation remains ongoing.
