 BAUCHI STATE POLICE COMMAND PRESS RELEASE SWIFT RESPONSE: POLICE/COMMUNITY ARREST TWO ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECTS, RECOVER STOLEN VALUABLES IN BIRSHI GANDU In its unwavering commitment to safeguarding lives and property, the Bauchi State Police Command,  has recorded yet another commendable breakthrough following prompt response to a distress report. On 17th October, 2026 at about 1015hrs, four complainants (two males and two females), all of Birshi Gandu, reported at 'E' Division that on the same day, while they were asleep in their compound housing Cozy Resort Hotel, three hoodlums armed with knives and machetes forcefully broke in and dispossessed them of their personal belongings including Samsung Galaxy S22 and S23, Redmi Note 14, iPhones, iPads, a Lenovo laptop, a Samsung tablet, power banks, earpods and other valuables running into millions of Naira, including office ID cards and driver's license.  Nigeria/African Union To Deepen Cooperation In Promoting Peace And Security


Nigeria has reaffirmed its commitment to promoting peace, security, and democratic governance across Africa through stronger collaboration with the African Union.


This was on the sidelines of the AU Executive Council meeting between Nigeria's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, and the AU Commissioner for Political Affairs, Peace and Security, Bankole Adeoye in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.


The Minister thanked the AU Commissioner for his role in facilitating the European Union’s 21 million dollar support to the Multinational Joint Task Force.


Meanwhile, Ambassador Adeoye commended Nigeria for its 22 years of outstanding contributions to the AU Peace and Security Council, and urged the country to sustain its leadership role in conflict prevention and regional diplomacy.


Discussions also focused on the security situation in the Sahel, Guinea, Burkina Faso and Sudan, and preparations for the forthcoming Extraordinary Session of the AU Assembly in Angola.


The Commissioner also highlighted AU efforts to strengthen Africa’s peace architecture through the AU Peace Fund and the new African Institute for Democratic Governance.


Both parties agreed to deepen cooperation in mediation, capacity building, and the use of Artificial Intelligence in conflict prevention, in line with the aspirations of Agenda 2063.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
