Peter Obi’s new lies Peter Obi’s recent claims of being targeted by the government—citing an incident involving his car at the airport, which, by his own account, must have resulted from flouting parking regulations—are simply unfounded and misleading.  As a pathological and serial liar, Mr Obi is intent on dragging the government into every personal inconvenience he encounters, often resorting to exaggeration and baseless allegations. NOTORIOUS OUTLAW ABUBAKAR USMAN APPREHENDED IN DELTA FOREST

A woman, Mrs. Blessing Chiedu, who was kidnapped on July 2, 2026, along Ani-Ifekide Farm Road in Ubulu-Uku, Delta State, has been rescued alive by security operatives.

According to the report, her kidnappers demanded ₦100 million from her family.

After receiving information about the kidnapping, the Delta State Police Anti-Kidnapping Squad, using the Hydra Tech Surveillance System, tracked and rescued her along the Ubulu-Unor/Ashama Road.

Security forces then continued searching for the kidnappers and traced them to a hideout in the Ogwashi-Uku/Adonta Forest. During a gun battle, one of the most wanted suspects, Abubakar Usman, was arrested, while the other gang members escaped into the forest with their gun.

Investigators believe Abubakar Usman and his gang were responsible for several kidnappings in Igbodo, Umunede, and nearby communities, where they allegedly collected millions of naira in ransom from victims' families.

Security operatives say efforts are ongoing to arrest the remaining suspects and ensure criminals have no hiding place.
