 BAUCHI STATE POLICE COMMAND PRESS RELEASE SWIFT RESPONSE: POLICE/COMMUNITY ARREST TWO ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECTS, RECOVER STOLEN VALUABLES IN BIRSHI GANDU In its unwavering commitment to safeguarding lives and property, the Bauchi State Police Command,  has recorded yet another commendable breakthrough following prompt response to a distress report. On 17th October, 2026 at about 1015hrs, four complainants (two males and two females), all of Birshi Gandu, reported at 'E' Division that on the same day, while they were asleep in their compound housing Cozy Resort Hotel, three hoodlums armed with knives and machetes forcefully broke in and dispossessed them of their personal belongings including Samsung Galaxy S22 and S23, Redmi Note 14, iPhones, iPads, a Lenovo laptop, a Samsung tablet, power banks, earpods and other valuables running into millions of Naira, including office ID cards and driver's license. NPF MOURNS THE PASSING OF AIG ADELEKE TAIWO OLATUNDE (RTD) AND CP HASSAN SALEH GWANI


The Nigeria Police Force announces with profound sadness the passing of two distinguished officers: Assistant Inspector-General of Police Adeleke Taiwo Olatunde (Rtd), who passed away at his Lagos residence on July 23, 2026, and Commissioner of Police Hassan Saleh Gwani, who died on Sunday, July 19, 2026, while receiving treatment in Cairo, Egypt. Both officers served the Force meritoriously for nearly three decades with dedication, professionalism, and commitment to public safety.


AIG Adeleke Taiwo Olatunde (Rtd) enlisted into the Force as a Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police on May 18, 1992. Over an exemplary career spanning more than 33 years, he rose through the ranks holding key command and operational positions across Abia, Lagos, Osun, and Benue State Commands, as well as Force Headquarters. Notable appointments include DPO Ikire, AC and DC Operations at Western Port Authority Lagos, Commander of the SWAT Unit at FCID Headquarters, and AIG Operations, from which he honorably retired on November 3, 2025. He is survived by his wife and children.


CP Hassan Saleh Gwani, a native of Yamaltu/Deba Local Government Area of Gombe State, was born on November 11, 1970. Enlisting on November 10, 1997, he dedicated close to three decades of meritorious service to the Force across several strategic roles. Following his passing at the Saudi German Hospital in Cairo after a brief illness, his burial was conducted in Cairo, Egypt, in accordance with Islamic rites.


The leadership of the Force conveys its deepest condolences to the families, friends, and colleagues of the departed officers, commending their selfless service and honor to the nation. The Nigeria Police Force prays that Almighty God grants their souls eternal rest and gives their families the fortitude to bear these irreplaceable losses.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
