 Anambra Upgrades 130 Primary Health Centres, Recruits 1,000 Health Workers ‎ ‎ ‎By Ezumezu Nonyelum ‎ ‎ ‎The Anambra State Government says it has upgraded 130 primary health centres across the state as part of efforts to improve access to quality healthcare. POLICE SECURE CONVICTION OF 2 SUSPECTS OVER HOUSE BREAKING AND THEFT IN LIMAN KATAGUM


Sequel to a diligent investigation and prosecution, the Bauchi State Police Command has secured the conviction of two suspects for criminal conspiracy, trespass, house breaking, and theft in Liman Katagum, Bauchi LGA.


According to a report received at Liman Katagum Division on 27th June, 2026 at about 1400hrs, a male resident of Bandan Village reported that about one month ago, two persons criminally conspired, trespassed into his house, and stole several items.


The suspects were identified as: Iliyasu Musa, male, and Ibrahim Isah, male, both 28-years-old, and residents of Baluwa Village.


The stolen items include:

- One Infinix Hot 10 Play valued at ₦89,000

- One keypad Tecno phone valued at ₦15,000 

- One keypad Itel phone valued at ₦15,000

- Cash sum of ₦20,000

- One power bank valued at ₦30,000

- Two T-shirts valued at ₦28,000

- One wrist watch valued at ₦6,000

- One Tecno Android phone valued at ₦50,000


The total value of the stolen items is ₦244, 000.


Subsequently, preliminary investigation led to the arrest of the duo suspects. Both suspects confessed to the crime during interrogation.


Furthermore, they were charged to court and accordingly convicted.


The Commissioner of Police, Bauchi State Command, CP Sani-Omolori Aliyu, mni, psc (+), has commended the Divisional Police Officer and his team for the diligent investigation that led to the conviction. He reiterated the Command’s commitment to ensuring that criminal elements face the full wrath of the law.
