 ANAMBRA SECURITY: CP NNANNA URGES PRESIDENTS-GENERAL OF COMMUNITIES TO PRIORITISE SECURITY, STEP UP SUPPORT FOR FIGHT AGAINST CRIMINALITY The Commissioner of Police, Anambra State Command, CP Nnanna Oji Ama, psc, mnips, has called on Presidents-General of communities across the State to place the security and wellbeing of their respective communities at the forefront of their leadership responsibilities. The Commissioner made the call on 4th September 2026 while receiving the Association of Presidents-General of Communities in the State. He noted that the Presidents-General occupy strategic positions in their respective communities and therefore have a crucial role to play in supporting the Police and other security agencies in the fight against criminality. Controversial Nigerian street-hop artist Portable has once again shown that he is never one to back down from a verbal brawl. The singer has fired back at rapper YCee, responding to criticisms and being labeled as the leader of the so-called 'Olodo Uprising.'


The Genesis of the 'Olodo Uprising'


The online feud originally sparked after rapper YCee commented on what he described as a rising wave of "brain-rot" content online, tagging the phenomenon the "Olodo Uprising" (a Yoruba term colloquially used to describe uneducated or foolish behavior). The debate quickly went viral, drawing heated reactions from several online personalities, including content creators Peller and Jarvis.


Never one to stay silent when his name or brand is associated with controversy, Portable took the opportunity to address the critics head-on during a recent appearance on the popular Honest Bunch podcast.


'How Many of You Have Been to Canada?' — Portable Boasts of Global Success


In a clip from the podcast that has since taken social media by storm, Portable sarcastically embraced the "number one olodo" tag, using his international achievements to silence his detractors. The "Zazuu Zeh" crooner argued that academic or intellectual labels matter little when compared to his real-world financial and global success.


"Them de call me number 1 olodo, how many of you don go Canada before?" Portable questioned in Nigerian Pidgin. "America gave me a 10-year working permit. I fit go piss for Canada come back."


By highlighting his 10-year United States work permit and his ability to travel to Canada at will, Portable sought to prove that his street smarts and music career have opened doors that many of his highly-educated critics can only dream of.
