 BAUCHI STATE POLICE COMMAND PRESS RELEASE SWIFT RESPONSE: POLICE/COMMUNITY ARREST TWO ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECTS, RECOVER STOLEN VALUABLES IN BIRSHI GANDU In its unwavering commitment to safeguarding lives and property, the Bauchi State Police Command,  has recorded yet another commendable breakthrough following prompt response to a distress report. On 17th October, 2026 at about 1015hrs, four complainants (two males and two females), all of Birshi Gandu, reported at 'E' Division that on the same day, while they were asleep in their compound housing Cozy Resort Hotel, three hoodlums armed with knives and machetes forcefully broke in and dispossessed them of their personal belongings including Samsung Galaxy S22 and S23, Redmi Note 14, iPhones, iPads, a Lenovo laptop, a Samsung tablet, power banks, earpods and other valuables running into millions of Naira, including office ID cards and driver's license.  PRESIDENT TINUBU STRONGLY CONDEMNS ATTACK IN KAURU LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA OF KADUNA STATE


President Bola Tinubu has strongly condemned the recent barbaric attack on innocent citizens in Naridon Village in Kamaru Ward, Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State. 


The attack on innocent citizens in the early hours of Monday led to the death of about 30 residents, including women and children and the burning down of their houses. The President have directed the Armed Forces, police, and other relevant intelligence agencies to intensify operations across the affected areas to track down the perpetrators swiftly, secure the release of abducted individuals, and restore normalcy to the region.


A statement by Special Adviser to President on Information and Strategy Bayomi Onanuga says President Tinubu describes the assault as an unprovoked act of terror against defenceless people. The President stresses that those who seek to destabilise the hard-fought peace and security, which Kaduna State has enjoyed in recent times will not go unpunished. 


President Tinubu while extending his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, the state government, as well as Governor Uba Sani, and the entire good people of Kaduna State, assures that the Federal Government stands firmly with them in this hour of grief and remains resolute in tackling security challenges nationwide.                      It reiterates the administration's  unwavering commitment to strengthening security infrastructure, equipping response personnel, and neutralising criminal networks attempting to disrupt the peace of the nation.


The President urges the local communities to cooperate with security forces by providing actionable intelligence that would help early response efforts.
