Former Catholic Knight arrested over alleged ritual cleansing exercise in Nnewi Vigilantes in Nnewi have arrested Sir James Louis Okoye, a former Catholic Knight of St John International, who reportedly renounced Christianity during the official opening of Our Lady of Assumpta Catholic Church, Nnewi in January this year over non-recognition of late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah. Okoye was arrested after he was seen on Saturday wearing a red dress with fresh palm fronds between his lips, with a bell in hand, performing what he believed was the ritual cleansing of Nnewi land on the streets of the town. Okoye gained popularity in January, during the official consecration of the Nnewi Catholic Cathedral, where he decried the non-recognition Late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, who he believed built the cathedral to almost completion before his death.  Real Madrid President Florentino Perez Reportedly Frustrated With Vinicius Jr Over Contract Demands


Vinicius Junior’s future at Real Madrid is up in the air after contract talks hit a wall. The Brazilian winger is now in the final year of his deal.


Just 12 months ago, an extension looked like a done deal. Sources close to the club were confident it would be signed without drama.


Now, things have changed. According to Spanish outlet _Sport_, negotiations have stalled mainly because Vinicius is asking for a €15m signing bonus — something Real Madrid are refusing to pay.


The club also appears to be making a statement about its future plans. Madrid are close to signing RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande for a reported €120m. Both Diomande and Vinicius share the same agency, Roc Nation, which is expected in Madrid on Monday to finalize Diomande’s move. President Florentino Pérez even mentioned that fee during his election campaign.


While Diomande’s transfer is nearly complete, there’s still no agreement with Vinicius, 25, on a new contract. Reports describe this as part of a wider period of change at the Bernabeu.


The gap between Vinicius’ demands and what Madrid are offering is growing — and time is running out with just one year left on his current deal.
