 AAC SEEK FURTHER INVESTIGATION INTO ON SOWORE IN EKITI The African Action Congress, AAC, has called for further investigation into the reported attack on Omoyele Sowore and other party members in Ekiti State, despite the arrest of eleven suspects. In a statement by its national publicity secretary, Rex Elanu, the AAC says new video footage has emerged which it believes could help identify more persons involved in the incident. The party has expressed concern over the handling of CCTV recordings from the restaurant where the incident occurred, and alleges that some stolen phones were traced to the governor's lodge in Ekiti State. It is seeking an independent investigation into these claims, the handling of recovered items and the circumstances surrounding the incident. The AAC has also called for the arrest and prosecution of any other persons found to have been involved, and demanded an investigation into the conduct of any security officers who may have acted unprofessionally.

 Sarah Ferguson's honest reaction to loss of Duchess of York title revealed


Sarah Ferguson, the former Duchess of York, appeared unfazed when her courtesy title was removed amid scrutiny surrounding her ex-husband Prince Andrew’s ties to Jeffrey Epstein. 


Sources indicated that she supported Andrew’s decision to relinquish his titles, stressing that she would always stand by him and the King. 


Although she had used the Duchess of York title since her 1996 divorce, Sarah has long worked under her maiden name and is affectionately known as “Fergie.” 


Despite public criticism, she rejoined royal family events in recent years, including her first Christmas Day service with them since the 1990s.


Her presence at royal occasions has continued, with appearances at Easter services and the Duchess of Kent’s funeral. Following Queen Elizabeth II’s death in 2022, Sarah took on the responsibility of caring for the late monarch’s beloved corgis, Sandy and Muick. 


She publicly honored the Queen on the third anniversary of her passing, expressing gratitude for the kindness she had received and describing the dogs as a daily reminder of their bond. 


Meanwhile, Andrew formally announced in October 2023 that he would no longer use his titles or honors, citing his desire to protect the monarchy from ongoing controversy.


In recent months, Sarah has kept a low profile, retreating to the Austrian Alps. Reports suggest she has no plans to leave her current residence, where she was photographed at a luxury health resort after more than 200 days out of the public eye. 


Her last notable appearance with the royal family was at the Duchess of Kent’s funeral, followed by a private sighting at St James’s Palace for her granddaughter Athena’s christening. 


For now, she seems intent on maintaining privacy while balancing her ties to the royal family with life away from the spotlight.
