Following receipt of the report, police operatives from Kuje Division were immediately dispatched to the scene, where one Bashir Usman was rescued from an irate mob that was about to lynch him. Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspect was being assaulted by the mob over allegations that he attempted to abduct a five year old child in front of her residence in Angwan Lado, Kuje Area Council of the FCT. 10 YEARS IN JAIL FOR ASKING CHATGPT HOW TO ROB A BANK


 An American man has been sentenced to 10 years in federal prison after using ChatGPT to plan a bank robbery and threatening employees with death.


According to court documents, the man used the AI chatbot to research how to carry out the robbery, including timing, escape routes, and how to intimidate staff.


Prosecutors said he executed the plan and threatened bank employees during the attack before he was arrested.


The judge ruled that using AI to facilitate a violent crime showed clear premeditation. The court did not hold OpenAI liable, stating the tool was misused.


This is one of the first major U.S cases where ChatGPT was cited directly in the planning of a crime.
