 PRESS RELEASE OYO POLICE ARREST SIX SUSPECTED COUNTERFEIT CURRENCY DEALERS, RECOVER €8,900 SUSPECTED FAKE EURO NOTES The Oyo State Police Command has arrested six suspects linked to the possession, circulation and alleged production of counterfeit Euro currency, following a successful patrol operation by operatives of the Command. On 1 September 2026, at about 7:30 p.m., operatives on township patrol around the Labo–Wesley area intercepted three men travelling on a motorcycle. A search conducted on them led to the recovery of 89 pieces of suspected counterfeit €100 notes, with a total face value of €8,900. The suspects were identified as Tijani Saheed, 50, who was found in possession of the suspected counterfeit currency; Oni Oladapo, 67, who is alleged to have supplied the money; Adebayo Saheed, 52, who was the second passenger on the motorcycle; and Hammed Karemu, 25, the motorcycle rider.   Alleged Tupac Shakur Killer "Keefe D" Says He's "Not Nervous" About Possible Life Sentence


Alleged Tupac Shakur killer Duane “Keefe D” Davis is reportedly doing “pretty good” in jail as his murder trial begins in Las Vegas, and sources say he is not particularly nervous about potentially receiving a life sentence if convicted.


Davis’ trial began Monday, August 10, with jury selection after he pleaded not guilty to the 1996 murder of Tupac Shakur. Prosecutors allege that Davis helped orchestrate the killing in Las Vegas and supplied the gun used in the shooting, although they say another person fired the fatal shot.


Davis was arrested in 2023 after years of publicly discussing his alleged involvement in Tupac’s killing, including during media interviews and police questioning in which he had immunity. He was subsequently transferred to the Clark County Detention Center, where he has remained while awaiting trial.


According to TMZ sources with direct knowledge, Davis is not afraid of prison because he has spent time behind bars over the years, although he does not want to spend the remainder of his life incarcerated.


The sources said Davis recognises that he is now 64 and may not be able to cope with prison in the same way he might have when he was younger. One source said, “Prison is a dangerous place and horrible things happen there, especially when you're older.”


The sources also said Davis could face additional risks because of his reputation inside prison as the alleged killer of Tupac. Davis’ family and other loved ones reportedly believe he brought the situation upon himself by repeatedly discussing the case. They have described him as an “exaggerator” and a “bullsh---er.”


If convicted, Davis reportedly believes he could still find a route to freedom because he thinks prosecutors’ case contains significant weaknesses. More than anything, however, sources say Davis believes prosecutors should drop the case and apologise to him.
