 Lara Trump admits 'it's a struggle' as she opens up about parenting her two children Lara Trump recently opened up about the everyday realities of parenting, sharing how her two children with Eric Trump Luke and Carolina couldn’t be more different.  On her podcast The Right View, she explained that Carolina, now seven, is adventurous with food and willing to try anything, while Luke, eight, is far more selective. “Every parent, you got one,” she said, calling picky eating a universal challenge. She added that their differences go beyond meals, noting how each child responds to situations in unique ways.  Ariana Grande tells fans break from public appearances was planned long before recent announcement


Ariana Grande returned to the stage in Chicago on Monday, Aug. 3 and used part of the show to clarify that her planned break from public appearances was decided well before it was announced.


During her Eternal Sunshine Tour stop at the United Center, the singer read a prepared message to fans, saying the decision to step back after the tour was "not a reactive or impulsive thing" and that she had planned it "quietly, a long time ago."


Grande also told the audience that suggestions that outside negativity was influencing her decision were not accurate.


"No matter what noises exist out there, nothing will be able to distort my reality or be more real to me or not as real to me as this love that we share," she said.


She described the Eternal Sunshine Tour as "one of the most healing, beautiful, correct and special experiences" of her life before continuing with the performance.


Ahead of the concert, Grande shared an Instagram Stories post telling fans she was looking forward to the show.


The tour continues with two more performances in Chicago before moving to London's O2 Arena, where it concludes on Sept. 1.


Over the weekend, Grande's representative confirmed she will step back from public-facing work after the tour ends, describing the decision as a planned break following the completion of the tour.


PEOPLE also confirmed that Grande will no longer appear in the West End revival of Sunday in the Park with George alongside her Wicked co-star Jonathan Bailey. A source said she looks forward to supporting the production.
