 PRESS RELEASE ARREST OF SUSPECTED CULTIST, RECOVERY OF LOCALLY MADE SINGLE-BARREL PISTOL In the ongoing efforts of the Lagos State Police Command to combat cultism and other violent crimes across the State, operatives of the Command have arrested a suspected member of the Eiye Confraternity cult group and recovered one locally made single-barrel pistol in Mushin. Following credible information on cult-related activities at Ogunmokun Under-Bridge, Mushin, operatives immediately mobilised a surveillance team to the area and arrested one Segun Alani, ‘m’, aged 24 years. A search of the bag in his possession led to the recovery of one locally made single-barrel pistol, which was concealed inside the bag. The suspect is currently in Police custody and providing useful information to aid the investigation.
