Broda Shaggi Breaks Silence After Months of Absence, Promises 'Stronger' Return

Celebrated Nigerian comedian and actor Samuel Perry, widely recognized by his stage name Broda Shaggi, has finally broken his months-long silence to address his concerned fanbase. The beloved content creator, who has stayed away from public events, social engagements, and digital spaces recently, reached out to express deep gratitude to everyone who kept checking on his well-being during his hiatus.

Taking to his official WhatsApp channel on Friday, Shaggi shared an emotional update with his followers. He acknowledged that his prolonged absence had limited his ability to connect with his audience as much as he usually does, hinting at personal struggles without going into full detail.

"I wish I could tell y’all everything right now… but I can’t. Not yet," the popular skit maker wrote. "Just know I haven’t forgotten about you, and I haven’t stopped thinking about the day I can finally come back and really be ME with y’all again. I’m hoping that day comes soon."

Addressing the Rumors of His Hiatus

Shaggi’s sudden withdrawal from the spotlight had previously sparked widespread concern across social media. Some reports and speculations online had linked his absence to an alleged shooting incident that reportedly occurred months ago. However, in his latest address, the comedian carefully avoided detailing the reasons behind his break, neither confirming nor denying any of the prevailing rumors.

A Promised Comeback on the Horizon

Despite keeping the exact details of his challenges private, the entertainer offered his audience a strong message of hope, promising that his eventual return will be worth the wait.

"And when it does, I promise I’m coming back better, stronger, and ready to make up for all this lost time," he assured his supporters.

For now, fans and colleagues in the Nigerian entertainment industry continue to send prayers and well-wishes, eagerly awaiting the day the vibrant comedian officially steps back into the spotlight.
