Bruce Willis made a rare public appearance Saturday as he attended the wedding of his daughter Tallulah, marking another glimpse of the actor since his diagnosis with frontotemporal dementia.
Tallulah Willis, a writer, artist and advocate, married musician Justin Acee on Aug. 8 at her family’s home in Idaho. Photos from the celebration showed the 71-year-old “Die Hard” star smiling alongside the newlyweds.
In one black-and-white photo, Willis stood between Tallulah and Acee with an arm around his daughter as she held her bouquet and leaned toward him. Acee held Willis’ other hand.
Willis stepped away from acting in 2022 after being diagnosed with aphasia and later frontotemporal dementia, a condition that has resulted in him making only occasional public appearances.
Tallulah, 32, is one of Willis’ three daughters with former wife Demi Moore. Other photos from the wedding showed Tallulah with her mother and her new husband.
The celebration also included a surprise musical performance by Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, arranged by Moore.
Tallulah said she had loved Coldplay since middle school and had selected the group’s song “A Message” to accompany her walk down the aisle. She said she and Acee were overwhelmed with happiness when Martin appeared to perform.
Willis’ wife, Emma Heming Willis, previously revealed that she made the difficult decision to move him to a separate residence where he receives around-the-clock care.
Tallulah and Acee became engaged in 2024. In addition to Tallulah, Willis and Moore share daughters Rumer and Scout. Willis and Heming Willis also have two daughters, Mabel and Evelyn.
