A car filled with fireworks exploded during an illegal religious parade in central Mexico, killing a teenage boy and injuring at least a dozen more, terrifying video captured. Locals were participating in a procession Thursday in the city of Cuautitlán Izcalli — 21 miles from Mexico City — as part of an annual patron saint festival honoring San Francisco de Asis. Adults and children are seen celebrating as confetti hovers in the air when the pyrotechnics loaded into the vehicle catch fire, the video shows. Bystanders then turn toward the vehicle when the blast suddenly goes off. The person filming is knocked off their feet, while a person is seen sobbing nearby, according to the horrifying video.  Catholic Priest Allegedly Attacked by Knight of St. John at Enugu Church


A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Valentine Chimaobi Nwajiagu, was allegedly attacked on Sunday by a member of the Knights of St. John International, Sir Iyke Nwatakwocha, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, New GRA, Trans-Ekulu, in Enugu East Local Government Area of Enugu State.


The incident reportedly took place shortly after the 6 a.m. Mass. Fr. Nwajiagu, the Assistant Parish Priest of Assumption Catholic Church, Nkwo Nike, had taken part in a priestly exchange programme at the parish.


Sources said the man allegedly confronted the priest, damaged his vehicle and threatened worshippers who tried to intervene. The reason for the confrontation was not immediately clear.


Some worshippers claimed the same individual had allegedly confronted Fr. Nwajiagu earlier in the year at his own parish and expressed concern that a similar incident had occurred again. They called on the Catholic Diocese of Enugu to investigate and take steps to prevent further confrontations involving the priest.


The allegations could not be independently verified at the time of filing this report. Efforts to obtain reactions from the priest, the accused, the Knights of St. John International and the Catholic Diocese of Enugu were ongoing.
