Cubana Chiefpriest Lauds Davido's Billionaire Father, Adedeji Adeleke, After Osun Governor's Re-election

Flamboyant socialite Pascal Okechukwu, widely known as Cubana Chiefpriest, has showered praises on billionaire businessman Adedeji Adeleke, father to global music sensation Davido. This commendation comes in the wake of Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke's re-election, which reportedly occurred on Sunday, August 16, 2026.

Chiefpriest took to his Instagram account to express his profound admiration for his in-law, the elder Adeleke, sharing a video that captured a moment between himself and Adedeji Adeleke. The clip served as a backdrop for a heartfelt tribute to the patriarch of the influential Adeleke family.

In his accompanying caption, Cubana Chiefpriest, a staunch supporter of Governor Ademola Adeleke's political aspirations, described Adedeji Adeleke as a figure of immense, yet understated, influence. He lauded him as a man possessing "extraordinary, quiet power," a sentiment that resonated deeply with his online followers.

Known for his outspoken personality on social media and his public backing of political figures like President Tinubu, Cubana Chiefpriest underscored that his respect for Adedeji Adeleke transcends mere familial ties. He portrayed the elder Adeleke as an individual whose impact is felt not through overt displays, but through decisive, behind-the-scenes actions that shape outcomes.

Adedeji Adeleke has previously garnered public attention for his remarkable humility, notably when he was seen maintaining a modest demeanor at his polling unit during the Osun governorship election. This quality further accentuates the nature of the 'quiet power' Chiefpriest alluded to.

The Instagram post sparked a flurry of reactions from followers, many of whom voiced their thoughts on the Adeleke family's enduring legacy and influence within the Nigerian political landscape. The family's recent electoral triumph has once again spotlighted their prominence and political staying power.
