 Gehgeh Challenges VeryDarkMan: Accuses Activist of Targeting Davido Over Burna Boy Friendship and Political Stance Social media personality Gehgeh has publicly confronted activist VeryDarkMan (VDM), accusing him of treating music star Davido as an adversary due to his close ties with fellow artist Burna Boy. Gehgeh also questioned VDM's alleged threat to “wash down” Davido if the singer continued to comment on Nigerian politics. In a recent video, Gehgeh advised VeryDarkMan to cease his perceived attacks on Davido regarding his political affiliations. He argued that Davido, like any other Nigerian citizen, possesses the fundamental right to support any political candidate of his choice without facing intimidation. ELECTION SECURITY: POLICE ASSURES ADEQUATE SECURITY FOR 2026 LOCAL GOVERNMENT ELECTIONS IN BAUCHI STATE

The Bauchi State Police Command, under the leadership of the Commissioner of Police, *CP Sani-Omolori Aliyu, mni, psc (+)*, has put in place comprehensive security arrangements to ensure a peaceful, credible, and hitch-free conduct of the 2026 Local Government Elections scheduled for Monday, 17th August, 2026 across all 20 Local Government Areas of the State.


As part of the preparations, the Command has strategically deployed personnel across the State to reinforce security and guarantee the safety of lives, property, and electoral materials before, during, and after the elections.


WARNING AGAINST ELECTORAL VIOLENCE AND OTHER ELECTORAL OFFENCES

The Command hereby warns that any act of electoral violence, ballot box snatching, thuggery, vote buying and selling, intimidation of voters, or disruption of the electoral process will be met with the full weight of the law. Perpetrators, sponsors, and their accomplices, irrespective of status or affiliation, will be arrested and prosecuted accordingly.


CP Omolori further assures residents that all security personnel deployed for the exercise will conduct themselves with the highest level of professionalism, neutrality, and respect for human rights, and in strict compliance with extant laws.


The Command therefore reassures the good people of Bauchi State of a safe and secure environment to exercise their franchise. Citizens are encouraged to come out en masse to vote and to promptly report any suspicious activity to the nearest Police Station or through the Command’s emergency lines.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
