More than a year after Hulk Hogan’s passing at age 71, Brooke Hogan has spoken out against ongoing public judgment about her relationship with her father. In a pointed TikTok video, she reminded critics that their family’s struggles were lived both publicly and privately, and that she is entitled to grief and boundaries.
Brooke revealed she has cried daily since his death, describing the exhaustion of mourning while rejecting outsiders’ attempts to define her bond with her dad. Brooke explained that her relationship with Hulk was far deeper than what fans saw on Hogan Knows Best or other TV appearances. She recalled years of supporting him through surgeries and being “thick as thieves” with him, even as their connection deteriorated over time.
While she chose not to attend his funeral, she honored his memory privately with her family, including her twins born in 2025 who never met their grandfather. She emphasized that she had been the glue holding the family together but could no longer carry that role alone.
In her message, Brooke stressed that it was her father’s responsibility to make the effort to meet his grandchildren, and she is finished defending herself against online criticism.
She insisted that her love for Hulk was real and enduring, even if their relationship was complicated. “Judge people by the fruit they bear,” she said, adding that she doesn’t need to perform for others or pretend.
Brooke’s words underscored both her pain and her determination to protect her family, while reminding fans that grief and love can coexist with boundaries.
